"Rarely do we have the opportunity to be seen through the eyes of an artist."
UTAH MALE BOUDOIR
WHY MEN NEED BOUDOIR TOO, AND WHY YOU SHOULD BOOK THE SHOOT
Boudoir photography is often framed as something “for women,” but confidence, self-connection, and self-expression aren’t about gender. Men deserve to see themselves as se, powerful, and worthy of being admired—by others and by themselves.
A boudoir shoot isn't about your ego or just "looking good," it's about stepping into a space where you are celebrated as you are.
Nothing is required of you—no fixing, no proving, no performing. Just standing in your body and letting it be seen. The strength you’ve built. The discipline. You've worked hard to be where you're at today, and it's important for you to see the progress in a way that truly transforms your own perception of yourself, and if you want to share the images, then it's a great way to showcase to others the work you've been putting into YOU.
Men will typically say, "Oh, I don't need that." or "Nobody wants to see this body," or things of that nature.
But we don't book a photoshoot for someone else.
We book a photoshoot for ourselves.
To see ourselves in a new light. To let an artist show us what we've never seen before.
You deserve to see yourself in a profound way.
When men see their images, the reaction is often simple:
"I didn’t realize I looked like that."
And rarely do we have the opportunity to be seen through the eyes of an artist.
My photos aren't done to exaggerate anything, but to just simply be honest. To show you what I see, vs what you see in the mirror every day. And you'll be blown away when you see the difference.
This isn’t ego. It’s perspective.
Seeing yourself through a professional lens changes how you see yourself, and therefore how you carry yourself in the real world. Confidence becomes more solid. A subtle difference perhaps, but it's not something you perform for others, but something you now feel in your own skin.
This is the art of perception.
A boudoir shoot isn’t about trying to be someone else. It’s about recognizing who you already are—and seeing yourself as a work of art built from true strength and presence.
My favorite approach is always the undress method, where we start in a suit, or something that fits your style and you "undress" to the level of your comfortability. You can also just do a portrait session, where maybe we stay clear of anything too "sexy" and we stick to timeless, tasteful portraits with a loosely buttoned shirt, or things like that, to make it all feel a little more comfortable.
At the end of the day, I want you to remember that there are no rules. This is your shoot, and the point is to showcase YOU. Not just to simply copy what someone else has done, or what someone else might expect.
My shoots are always LGBTQ friendly and you do not have to be a body builder or know how to pose to book your shoot. That's why you hire me! I'll guide you through posing, and I'll work the lighting and angles to highlight the best of you.
If you have goals you're working towards, then I'll do what I can to help encourage, or you can even use the shoot as your inspiration and we'll book it aa few months out but as always, any and all body types and looks are accepted.
I hope you'll at least consider it! :)
